5 Inch Heels are too HigH?

I was gifted with this FABOULOUS pair of BCBG Max Azria Black Sling Back Shoes with Chrome Piping down the back of the heel for Christmas.  The leather on the shoes is exquisite – firm but soft on my feet.  A really well made shoe.  And, even though, the heels are 5 inches high, the shoe doesn’t hurt my feet.

I started wearing 3 inch heels at my Grammar School Graduation, continued through High School, College and many years in Corporate America.  I LOVE heels and hope to always be able to wear them.

However, I have to admit, that the heel on this shoe is a little too high.  No, the heel is not too high for the shoe.   The heel is just  a little too high for me – 5 inches.

You can tell when the heel is too high for your shoe,  the heel catches every time you make a step; and, you don’t feel secure walking.  When the heel is too high for the person the shoe is just hard to walk in.

Your Cobbler can fix the’ ‘heel too high for the shoe’ problem by taking a little off the heel.

I am hoping the ‘heel too high for me’ problem can be resolved by putting them on and practicing around the house.
